Adjunct Associate Professor
Professor Kuo specializes in conducting, Chinese music ensemble, and cross-cultural music. He has guest conducted the Taipei Chinese Orchestra and Taichung Philharmonic Orchestra. He is also an accomplished dizi (Chinese flute) player, having won the Taipei Chinese Traditional Musical Instrument Concerto Competition. He undertook doctoral studies at the University of North Texas, and holds an M.M. from Fu Jen Catholic University (Taiwan), and a B.F.A. from the Chinese Culture University (Taiwan). He studied with conductors Cliff Colnot, Adrian Gnam, and Gregory Pritchard. He joined the faculty at Fei Tian College in 2013 and is also a conductor with Shen Yun Performing Arts.
