Student Involvement and Leadership
A college education means more than earning degree credits. It represents the total experience of the student, inside and outside the classroom and in the campus environment, and leads to greater personal and professional growth. Student organizations and activities provide the opportunity to sample, experience, enhance, and focus interests and opportunities.
College-sponsored activities are offered free of charge and are open to the campus community. Involvement in campus activities can supplement and strengthen the educational experience, aid in skills development, and help forge lifelong friendships.
Students have the right to form clubs and other student organizations. They may receive approval and assistance from the Office of Student Affairs.
All student organizations are responsible for knowing and abiding by all College policies and local, state, and federal laws. The College may hold a student organization and its individual members accountable for violations of College policy.
